Look around you. Look around the world. So many needs, so many wounds and pains and divisions. So.much.brokenness. God made flesh, God dwelt among us. That’s what our world needs. An unsaturated, uncomplicated reconciling gospel that proclaims one thing: the healing work of the cross that has crossed two thousand years to get to us.

For some, sharing the gospel is a dim memory. For others, it’s an archaic command. For others, it’s the call of a few. For too many, it’s hard, filled with fear, uncertainty, and a lack of feeling prepared. What all of these views lack is the rock-solid truth that God has called all of us, God will equip us, and God will do the work. When we take our eyes off ourselves, God is lifted high for all to see.

Amplify 2018 will allow us to strip out the complexities of gospel witness and reveal the simplicity of the gospel that overcomes all barriers. Christ crucified. Christ lifted high. Our world made new. What does the simple, stripped gospel message look like to you? And how are you showing & sharing it with a world in desperate need of it?

OTHER SERIES WITH Ed Stetzer
Studies have shown that up to 81% of women and 43% of men have experienced some form of sexual harassment—either verbal or physical—at some point in their lifetime. Reflections: A GC2 Summit on Responding to Sexual Harassment, Abuse, and Violence was a one-day event which challenged and inspired pastors, leaders, and lay Christians to address the very real tragedy in our churches and to begin the healing process of being who God designed all of us to be. We brought together Christian leaders today to address what the Bible says about this tragedy, the destruction of silence, how to protect those who are vulnerable and victimized, the role of accountability in leadership, and much more.

The Summit was sponsored by the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College in partnership with the Wheaton College School of Psychology, Counseling, & Family Therapy.

Regardless of ethnicity, gender, country of origin, upbringing, or socio-economic status we all have one feature in common—we are made in the image of God. Despite our differences, we are living in the story of God’s redemptive work, which tears down the barriers that divide us. Following Christ means becoming a member of his household, one in which we will spend eternity.

Until then, an unbelieving world is watching. But what does it see? As we work to reconcile our differences, let us redirect our gaze where it belongs—on our Savior, Jesus Christ. When we do, we will truly grow into the people God designed us to become.

If we are honest, if we look at the fruit of many churches and Christ-followers today, we might say that too many hold evangelism to be a low priority in their daily lives. Perhaps they haven’t had much training, perhaps they are overcome by fear. Regardless of the reason we don’t show and share the love of Jesus with others, we must admit that the Church in North America is at a critical crossroads of witness.

Mass incarceration is a human rights and justice issue impacting over 2.3 million adults and youth, along with their families and victims. The U.S. is known as the land of the free, yet more people are locked up than any other country in the world. Representing less than 5% of the world’s population, we now hold almost 25% of the world’s total prison population. While mass incarceration impacts individuals and communities, the impact is felt more deeply by those who are people of color and the poor.

Mass incarceration is an issue which has been largely ignored by the Church. Now is the time for the Church to speak up about the injustices and respond with justice, mercy, and compassion.

The GC2 Summit on Mass Incarceration was a one-day event where top leaders in the field, representing different disciplines, who tackled difficult issues of mass incarceration. This series of videos will equip you to speak up for justice and act in ways that honor our Lord Jesus as well as each individual as made in the image of God.
